Personal Training Needs Assessment

The aim of these questions is to ensure that your personal training programme is personal. There are many approaches to fitness, all of which follow the same basic principles, but which are delivered in different ways.

For example, you can burn 200 calories in 19 minutes with someone screaming “RUUUUN!!” at you, or you can burn the same number of calories in 25 minutes at a steady walking pace.

Some people get bored with walking and prefer a high adrenalin workout, whereas others baulk at too much intensity and prefer a steady workout. In most cases there will be a mixture of high, medium and low intensity, but it helps to plan our workouts if I have an idea of your personal preferences. So, your personal training will be truly personal
