Aslam started training with me in January 2015. He had ran a few half marathons in the past and played football regularly but wanted to lose body fat and gain muscle.
After 3 months of weight training three times a week he had lost 20kg of body fat and had packed on a significant amount of muscle. After 6 months Aslam went from not being able to do a single pull up to being able to do 10 strict pull ups, deadlifting 130kg and squatting 100kg.
His training and change in body composition has been underpinned by a high protein diet and a significant reduction in sugar and refined carbohydrate intake.
